a2 Gentle Gold® Premium follow-on formula
a2 Gentle Gold® Premium follow-on formula is suitable from 6 months of age and is formulated to complement the introduction of first foods. It is not suitable for use in infants under the age of 6 months.
After opening, remove foil seal. Do not use if foil seal is damaged or missing. Store can in a cool dry place. Keep airtight and use within 4 weeks. Mark date of opening on can. Refer to the use by date on the base of the can. Do not refrigerate the powder.
Stage 2 formula, also known as follow-on formula, is specially formulated for babies from 6 months of age. It's designed to complement the introduction of solid foods and provides appropriate nutrition as part of a diversified diet. Stage 2 formulas have different nutritional profiles compared to Stage 1 infant formulas to meet the evolving needs of growing babies.
When transitioning from Stage 1 to Stage 2 formula around 6 months of age, you can make the switch gradually or immediately, depending on what works best for your baby. Some parents prefer to mix the formulas during transition (e.g., alternating bottles) while others switch directly. Always consult with your healthcare professional before making the change, especially if your baby has any feeding sensitivities.
Once opened, a2 Gentle Gold® Premium follow-on formula should be used within 4 weeks when stored properly in a cool, dry place. The unopened product should be used before the expiry date printed on the base of the can. Always mark the opening date on the can for reference.
