Yes. a2 Platinum® Premium follow‑on formula is often referred to as a2 Platinum® Stage 2. We created this formula to follow on from a2 Platinum® Premium infant formula and meet the nutritional requirements of bottle‑ or cup‑fed babies from six months and up.
a2 Platinum® Premium follow‑on formula is specifically designed to meet the growing nutritional needs of babies aged six months and up and to complement solids. It contains increased levels of key nutrients, for example iron, and may have a slightly different taste or texture.
Transition timing varies by individual development but should never be earlier than six months. Stage 1 is suitable from birth; Stage 2 is intended once solids have begun.
Introduce Stage 2 gradually over one to two weeks, increasing Stage 2 feeds while decreasing Stage 1 feeds and monitoring tolerance.
Mixing is not recommended as it disrupts each formula's intended nutritional profile and may lead to inconsistent nutrient supply.
No. The composition is suitable only for infants over six months of age.
Tolerance is individual. Some babies adjust easily; others may have temporary digestive changes. Consult a healthcare professional if concerned.
An opened can remains safe for four weeks if stored in a cool, dry place with the lid closed. Discard any unused powder after that time.

We believe breastfeeding is best to provide ideal nutrition for babies, and other important health benefits. Good nutrition for mums is important throughout pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding. However, we understand breastfeeding may not be an option for everyone. To support you on your feeding journey, we recommend speaking to a healthcare professional. Introducing formula either partially or exclusively may reduce breast milk supply, which isn’t easy to re-establish. It is also important to consider the social and financial impacts of formula, such as potential cost of providing formula until your baby is 12 months old. When using infant formula, always follow the preparation instructions carefully. Improper use can make your baby unwell.
