a2 Platinum® Premium junior milk drink is formulated to complement the normal, varied diet of children from 3 years of age when their dietary intake may be inadequate. It should not be used for children under 3 years, and it should not replace main meals, but may replace regular cow's milk.
Can a 2‑year‑old drink a2 Platinum® Premium junior milk drink?
Stage 4 is designed for children 3 years +. For a 2‑year‑old, we recommend our a2 Platinum® Premium toddler milk drink (stage 3) which is formulated for toddlers from 1 year. Always follow your healthcare professional's advice.
How long does a2 Platinum® Premium junior milk drink last?
Once opened, keep the can airtight in a cool, dry place and use within 4 weeks. Always check the use‑by date on the base of the can. Prepared drinks should be consumed immediately or discarded after 30 minutes (or within 24 h if refrigerated at ≤ 4 °C).
Does a2 Platinum® Premium junior milk drink contain palm oil?
No. a2 Platinum® Premium junior milk drink contains no added palm oil, gluten, corn syrup or maltodextrin.
Is a2 Platinum® Premium junior milk drink suitable for picky eaters?
Yes. Junior milk drinks can conveniently bridge nutrient gaps for fussy eaters by providing protein, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals when dietary intake is inadequate. It should be consumed in conjunction with regular meals, not as a meal replacement.
Can I pre‑mix a2 Platinum® Premium junior milk drink and store it?
Fresh preparation is best. If necessary, you may store a freshly prepared drink in the refrigerator at ≤ 4 °C for up to 24 hours. Shake well before serving and discard any unused portion if it has been at room temperature for more than 30 minutes.
